Whaddup! another snow day!!!

Well I got the call this morning around 5 something AM that school was cancelled.  Did I jump for joy no not really but I could use the day off to regroup and meditate and do some yoga as well as one of my classmates suggested.  But yeah for most of the day I will be focused on doing what I do best network and make business power moves and add another row or column of blocks to the foundation I have been building for quite some time now.  Eventually all this hard work that I am putting in will pay off.

In other news I have been keeping up with Kanye West’s blog which always catches my eye because there is always interesting things to see and read about.  He is currently in Paris having a grand old time.  And of course as we may all know he is a shop a holic and likes to have the latest fashion trends going especially anything that has to do with Mr. Louis Vuitton.  You either hate him or love him he is who he is like he said a while back “everything Im not made me everything I am”.  Kanye dares to be different I must say.

Back to work

Good morning all it is happy Monday for all of us.  That is a good feeling when you know you have to wake up early and get ready to go to the 9 to 5 and produce.  We must not look at it as a bad thing but as a positive one.  After all we do need to make that money in order to survive out here in the establishment we currently live in.  And we must also pay our bills and other expenses.  And for those who are sneaker and cigarette fiends this is a must for you guys.  In other news again the Sound of Art alongside Airwalk will be hosting the “Breaking the Mold” art exhibit Tuesday January 27th at the hotel on Rivington in New York City from 7 to 10.  I would like to give a shout out at this time to the whole SOA crew for their continuous hardwork and phenomenal production of art and events.

Hello all

Good evening ladies and gentleman hope all are well I am keeping this one short today.  Well this week was a very busy week for me so I tried my best to catch up on some sleep but wasn’t to successful lol.  It is finally taking a toll on me all this working and no resting.  Just finished up customizing a shoebox for the “breaking the mold” art show and relaunch of the Airwalk Desert Boot.  Will be taking place Jan. 27th in Nyc on Rivington Street.

Brrrr!!! it’s cold

Good day all hope all are well and being productive I know its been a while, I have been very busy with teaching and schooling as some of you may already know.  Just wanted to touch base with all of you so that you guys wouldn’t feel like I’ve abandoned you guys but anyhow I have some news for you.  The Sound of Art will behaving another event the 27th of January along side Airwalk.  This will be a hot, funky, and different event so if you can check it out.

Another day gone by!

Good evening all hope everyone had a good day at work, home, or where ever you might of found yourself earlier today.  It was a regular quiet day for me.  Not too much going on but I did take some time out to get some work done and also took a ride out to Outlawzz Racing where my boy AK who is an artist was airbrushing a wall for the shop.  It was cool we had not seen each other for a minute so it was cool to parlay with him and the rest of the crew at the shop.   So yeah we killed some time over there and I also got a little more work done over there did some designing myself on my mac and also took some flicks of the wall in its beginning stages.

Yesterday I was out at Barnes & Nobles checking out the new mags and what not.  They had some pretty cool new issues out there like the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine with Brad Pitt on the cover and some interesting issues in there as well.  I chilled in the newsstand section then head to the 2nd floor to the art section of course my favorite section in the whole place.    I picked up a few books and started skimming through them and seen some interesting things in there from things like pieces by Basquiat to urban street art out in Japan and what not.  So I thien headed towards the design section and cont’d looking through books and I came across a book titled “Caffeine for the Creative Mind”  I read some quick quotes and just random things in there and it really caught my attention so I ended up purchasing it.  I recommend it especially for graphic designers I believe it was created by one.

It’s Friday nite!!

Well its friday night just laying low by my peoples crib playing some Madden 09′ its definitely better than 08′ it has its good upgrades.  Wow who would’ve ever thought that Madden would be out 20 years strong but it is true.   So yeah just taking it easy putting in some time to rest from the teaching field which I enjoy very much.  We are always on the grind at Elijah Arts Unltd.

In other news we are excited to announce that we will be working with the Syllabuzz Magazine on the 4th edition.  It is an honor for us to be able to collaborate with such a great magazine and also a phenomenal staff.   Thanks again to Jose Martinez, Carlos Santana, and Gary Angulo for giving us the opportunity to work with them again.  By the way people check out the Syllabuzz Mag website you will be updated on all types of goodies.  Check it out for yourselves I won’t ruin the surprise.

Merry Xmas!

Merry Xmas to everyone out there.  I hope everyone is doing well in the holiday season.  I hope the new year brings all of us some refreshment to our mind, body and soul.  Lets turn the world around for the better.  Together we can make the world a better place for all of us to live in and live content with one another.  Let’s bring in the new year with a positive state of mind in everything we do.  Life will get better but we have to sacrifice that is the price we must all pay and of course most important you have to keep the faith.  We all have been blessed in many ways some of us in more than one way.   These are blessings that we must not take for granted but be thankful and used them as a tool to allow you to grow and to move up in life.  Like the great Fredrick Douglas once said “Without struggle there is no progress”.  I will cut this one short so you guys can keep unwrapping your presents and spend time with family and friends.   See you guys next year the 09′ will be exciting and full of new things to come with us here at Elijah Arts Unltd.

It’s a wet one out there!

Good day all hope everyone is keeping themselves warm and dry because it is nasty out there.  Unfortunately for business oriented people like me and many others I donot have the luxury of staying home.  Its part of the constant grind and trying to make it in the world.  I will be busy for the next upcoming sites with collaborative projects and also taking care of my brand coming soon.  Hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas vacation so far.  I wish everyone and there loved ones a happy holiday and a healthy new year.

I am currently hanging out at the Pix-L Graphx head quarters doing some work before I call it a day.  I have to go visit co-workers chill with my moms and then chill with friends.  Here is a picture of Pix-L graphx holiday cupcakes.

Just one more day before possible history gets made!

Good morning all.    Yes it’s monday and the beginning of the week is here.  I know why did I have to remind everyone about that but hey someone has to do it.  This past weekend was a quiet one for me did some cleaning around the work space but most of all got some well needed rest.  Well this should be an exciting week for all of us.  We will all be witnesses to history being made tomorrow during the presidential elections.  Obama v.s. Mc Cain may the best man win. 

In other new I just picked up the latest issue of Art News pretty exciting article in there.  It’s about street art getting hot and how murals, grafitti, stickers, are now becoming mainstream and being accepted into museums.   Well it’s about time that this goes thru its been many years in the making for society to accept street art as real art and not just vandalism as they categorize it to be.  Here is the latest issue of Art News just in case you are interested in picking it up at the bookstore.

so im super mega greatly sorry for not posting in so long. Getting ready for school has been hectic and I have a full-time and a part time job so that’s been kickin’ my booty as well. So we’ll be smoothly runnin come October, gotta get into the flow of things first.

So before i get into today’s BIZNAZ I would just like to say (I’m kinda late) but if you watched the VMA’S and you hate stupid people you hate him….

I thought for one he was one of the most ignorant, vulgar, immature, disgusting people to ever take the stage on the VMA’s. There’s a fine line between being funny and disrespectful and he crossed it by like 8 KL. So SCREW YOU RUSSELL BRAND!

I wasn’t too fond of Rihannas performance it was a little pitchy and stuff. I loved T-pain and lil’ Waynes performance that was awesome, Pink, Jonas Bros and Jordin Sparks comment towards the sexist himself. AWESOMEEE

Anyway today we’re going to sing happy burfday to our very own ELIJAHHHHHHH!!

(no he’s not old i just thought the cake on flames was funny and that mans face is priceless)
